RS422 level signals from an RS232 interface? Our ANC-6090 (pictured) converts RS232 level signals to RS422 or RS485 differential signals for noise immune communication at 115 Kbaud at distances up to 4000 feet. The adapter plugs into the serial port of the PC and for most applications, is powered from the serial port. Our ANC-6090S/D is an internally mountable powered version RS232-RS422/RS485 adapter which provides one or two RS422 ports from the PC's RS232 ports. The newest additions to our serial adapter line, the ANC-6185 features optional LED status, AutoXmit control and a choice of either Terminal Block or RJ-45 type interface connectors. The ANC-6023 offers the same RS232/RS422 conversion plus video sync interrupt generation for multimedia specific applications.
